“Take a Minute, Change a Life”  以一分鐘,改變一生

One-Minute Video Competition 一分鐘短片比賽

Suicide is a major public health problem. To raise public awareness, the World Health Organization (WHO) and International Association for Suicide Prevention (IASP) observed 10 September as World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD). This year, the theme is “Take a Minute, Change a Life”. The Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention (CSRP), HKU, is now inviting one-minute video submissions on the theme of “Take a Minute, Change a Life”. The champion, 1st runner-up and 2nd runner-up will receive HKD$5,000, HKD$3,000 and HKD$2,000 in prizes. Voters will have the chance to win HKD$1,000. We are inviting your one-minute video submission before 31st July 2017. 9th August 2017.

Entries should relate to suicide prevention. There is no restriction on the format as long as the length of your video is no more than one minute. We encourage entrants to share personal experiences to encourage and inspire those who are suicidal.
